Blog - With all of the information flying around about topics such as green building, we wanted to provide a place to find current information. So we decided to start a blog. Posts include discussions on green building items, how to limit cost over runs, and other building related topics. More posts will be added as we come up with new ideas that home owners want to know about. The blog can be found at http://buildingyourdream.blogspot.com.
CB-USA - We are members of an organization that helps lower the costs for your home, and improves quality and time to build. It is made up of reputable, fiscally responsible and innovative builders. CB-USA was set up by builders for builders as a way to save on labor and material costs, and to garner better service. It is a network of professional vendors and subcontractors for the purpose of lowering each builder's cost of business, instilling higher levels of service and increasing productivity. There was an article on this in the September 13, 2009 New Homes Edition of the Austin American Statesman.
We have moved, and had to change phone numbers! - We have moved our offices to new space, and the new phone number and address is shown at the bottom of the page. We are now on FM 1431 (Whitestone Boulevard) just east of Parmer Lane in Cedar Park. Even though we moved north, we still plan to service Austin and the surrounding areas for new home construction. Come by to see our new space!
Green Building - We have built 4 and 5 Star rated homes! One of our homes was included in the Cool House Tour on June 22, 2008. We had a lot of people come through to tour a home that was green, but still warm and inviting. The home included the use of sustainable materials and energy saving features packaged into a beautiful home that works well with the site. Danze & Davis Architects has shot a video of this home with the owners discussing green building. Click on green design to check out the video. Remodeling - We also do major remodels in addition to new home construction.
Repairs to sell - Need to sell your existing home before you start construction on your new home? Many existing homes need work, from minor repairs to major renovations before they are put on the market. We can do the repairs, renovations, whatever is needed at a reduced cost to help you get your house sold. Of course, we want to build your new house, but this helps reduce the stress of finding people for renovations on your home to get it ready to sell.
